A safety audit is a systematic procedure aimed at introducing road safety into road planning, design and road improvement in order to reduce the number of accidents and injuries. Road safety audits can be used in any phase of project from planning and preliminary engineering to design and construction.  Road Safety Audits also has no limitation on the project size; it can be carried out for every minor intersection or mega-project.
